Who We Are,
What started in 2025 nestled in the small-town of Limerick Maine, HS Homestead & Transport aims to provide quality care and compassion to every animal we transport. With over 20 years of experience between livestock and transport service, we decided to combine the two together into one small family run business. We move everything from horses, cattle, goats, sheep, pigs etc. We enjoy what we do, we love each and every one of our customers and the animals we carry, who have entrusted in us to care for their precious livestock as if they were our very own.
We offer great rates along with multi animal and veteran discounts. While offering transport services across the entire lower 48, we also offer local farm to butcher, farm to vets, farm to shows, and farm rescues!

They hauled a nervous little pony from VT to MA for me, and were absolutely amazing! Very friendly people with amazing horse handling skills and communication!
I can’t even tell you how nervous we were anticipating moving our horse from NH to WV but we could not have been more fortunate to have Corey and Leanne to help us. The move went smoothly and without any hiccups and their support couldn’t have been any better. I highly recommend them for long distance hauls and would never trust anyone else to take the great care our horse received. We will be forever grateful to them.
CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THEM!!! They were both so amazing with my OTTB who can be very stubborn. Hauled him from MT to MD. He looked amazing when he got off the trailer which is proof how well Corey took care of him through the journey. Leanne kept me updated through the whole trip and was super helpful before the trip ensuring the paperwork was all good to go. I will for sure be using them again when I need to haul my stubborn boy.
Corey & Leann, thank you!! We highly recommend this company to anyone who has animal transport needs. They are excellent communicators, and gave us updates during all parts of the day. Corey was gentle and kind with our two horses, long hauling from NY all the way to WY. Leann was wonderfully personal, ensuring we knew what was going on and where they were. I really trust both of them to do an excellent job every time. They gave meds, took everything we needed, and made the process so easy! Thank you again!
Corey shipped my mare last minute after a different company canceled. He is great at communicating and the trailer was flawless. Absolutely will use him for future shipping needs. Very much appreciate the hard work and last minute step in!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! They have been fantastic from the start! Fast response time and accurate information. They kept me in the loop the whole time even before they picked up my horse. Very professional and friendly! Will definitely be using them again for my transport needs!
I can not express how amazing Corey and Leeann are! We decided to move from NH to Florida with a horse,4 goats and a pig. Fun fact is our horse is terrified of pigs. I messaged them every day about something and they reassured me every time.
They made sure all my animals got to Florida safely and sent me updates the entire time. I literally could write a book about how much I would recommend them.
I am so thankful for them and honestly don’t know if I would have been able to move my animals without them.
We had 2 horses transported from Ocala to AZ. I was concerned that this would be a problem since they were coming from Maine, but nope, not a problem at all!. I was so impressed by their customer service. You just don't expect it to be this good anymore. I was so impressed. They showed up when they said they would. They took the extras we left behind. Most importantly they took care of the horses all along the way and updated us frequently. I would not hesitate to call them. If you need your horses transported... these are your guys! Thank you for all you did, we appreciated it so much!!!
Leann and Corey are awesome! There were so many unknowns in my delivery and they handled it with patience, kindness, and support. I was so nervous and Leann gave me updates and pictures and reassurance. I’m so grateful to them for giving my new girls a safe delivery. I highly, highly recommend their services and would absolutely use them again :)
Corey and Leanne were amazing to work with! They updated me constantly throughout the day and took great care of my new mare. I highly recommend them and I will definitely be using them for any of my hauling needs in the future!
